On June, 4th a new “In An Absolut World” exhibition has opened its doors to visitors. This time, Absolute visions landed in Portugal.
The exhibition is sponsored by Absolut and was organized by the
WHO , Creative Talent Agency, and
MUUDA .
They’ve gathered six very different artists which submit their visions about An Absolut World in their inherent manners:
Rodrigo Oliveira, a plastic artist, made a unique door as a virtual crossing between real and Absolut worlds, and glasses that could change one’s view on world and life.
Sofia Vilarinho, a fashion-designer, thinks that In An Absolut World everything should be more humane. Thus, an Absolut bottle was turned into some kind of a head with natural human hair, silk and Swarovski crystals.
Sílvia Prudêncio tried to find the limits of visual interpretation to show that In An Absolut World everything is relative.
Illustrator Nuno Neto believes In An Absolut World one can download his/her personal world, working with memories and recollections like with computer files.
Photographer Mario Ambrózio follows his latest series of work, "The Strong Man", and draws our attention to the problem of cleanness, because In An Absolut World all the trash should be cleaned, while Pedro Maia sees An Absolut World as a huge number of sensations hidden everywhere, including a usual Absolut bottle.
The exhibition will work in Portugal till September, 12th.
