One might talk a lot about the Absolut’s collaboration with famous designers and artists and those who are only in the beginning of their artistic way.

Usually, this story begins with Andy Warhol who created his Absolut painting in 1985. But since then a lot of time passed and many single works were combined into impressive collections which are presented online and exhibited at many museums.
One of them, for example, is the Historical Museum of Wine & Spirits in Stockholm, where Absolut gathered more than 800 works from artists such as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jean-Michael Basquiat, Louise Bourgeois and Sylvie Fleury.
The next step in this direction is the creation of the first-ever Absolut Art Award to mark the outstanding art works and forms. It includes a yearly award of euro 15 000 and the possibility to collaborate with Absolut to create a new work about an Absolut World .
It is informed, that the first award was granted to Keren Cytter (pic.) an Israeli visual artist, which is known for her textually based video art. The great example of her works is the “Continuity” based on the “Continuity of Parks” by Julio Cortazar:
