Absolut vodka was always ready to embrace the lesbian and gay rights movements.

This brand believes that it is very important to encourage people to be who they are.

So, it is not surprisingly that Absolut decided to mark the date when the famous rainbow LGBT flag goes 30 in June, 2008. It has done this in its own and special way: May 5th, 2008, Absolut launched the Absolut Colors vodka (pic).

Absolut Colors has a special edition bottle and also a limited edition cocktail book about preparing cocktails with a rainbow. All recipes are based on six colors of the rainbow flag.

As it is known, each color in this design has its own philosophical meaning. For instance, a hot pink stripe means sexuality, a yellow one describes the sunlight, a green hue is devoted to nature and a turquoise line is about magic.

If all these will be in your drink, we really don’t know. May be.

A video from the Absolut Colors’ presentation could be seen here.
