Avon acquires the British brand “Liz Earle Beauty” and the company Liz Earle Beauty Co. Limited, which owns it.

It is a quite young company. The story of “Liz Earle Beauty” started in 1995 when Liz Earle and Kim Buckland extended their long friendship into a business partnership.

Being an a beauty editor and author of over 30 books, Liz became a specialist in botanical ingredients, while Kim was responsible for the manufacture, packaging, retail and marketing of cosmetics.

In that way, because of its women’s beginning, “Liz Earle Beauty” is a perfect fit for Avon that is “the company for women”.

It is known, that Liz Earle Beauty will continue to be managed independently as a stand-alone brand under the leadership of co-founders Liz Earle and Kim Buckland, and will maintain its headquarters in Ryde, United Kingdom.
