Tracking its history since 1877, Barilla is a real expert in food and also in the art that describes all the refinement of this everyday ritual.
That is a reason that in May, 2008 Academia Barilla hosted the 4th edition of the special gastronomic section of the
Brescello Short Film Festival and chose the winners of so called “Kitchen Stories”. These are short films about food and culture.
The winners of the 2008 Academia Barilla Awards are: “La zuppa di pietra” directed by Christian Carmosino ( a story about well-known Italian soup Acquacotta), “Bellissimi” directed by Davide Vanni that describes the celebration of Misericordia, the first Sunday of September, in a small Italian village Bellissimi and “Dulcis in fundo” directed by Davide Abate.
