Its new Spring/Summer 2010 collection Benetton describes as a CD with favourite songs.

Every song brings to life moments, emotions and people. In the same way, the United Colors of Benetton wants its consumers mix things from the collection to create different emotional images and different stories about people.

As for the main color, the focus is on all calm hues of blue – from pale to very deep ones – which sound louder or more gentle with different fabrics (muslin, jersey, silk blends, voile, poplin, ribbon knit and creponne). According to Benetton, on such calm background all bright elements of yellow, red, orange and light blue colors will have a special meaning and create a special image and mood.

For instance, for women Benetton offers an image of a Liberian girl and a perfect Marlene Dietrich of the twenty-first century, while men can turn themselves into bad boys or a New York resident who tries to find a perfect balance between a full of work day and a romantic part of his soul.
