In June 6th, 2008, the Coca-Cola launched its branded widget and application “CokeTag” in the social net Facebook (pic.).
According to the brand, this application would help internet users to promote themselves. It looks like a personal form or a questionnaire that is open for visitors from other social nets – such as MySpace, Bebo ans others.
CokeTags could be used to store links to on- and off-Facebook content, to set information about fields that the owner is an expert in, to keep schedules of football matches or dates of the favorite bands’ concerts or others. The aim is to unite people that is one of the basic ideas of the Coke Side of Life.
“CokeTag” is the result of a partnership between the Coca-Cola Company and Linkstorm.
