In May 30th, 2008, the premiere of the “Sex and the City” movie took place. The film that was called a “james bond” - story for women because of the quantity of the product placement featured several brands including SKYY and Mercedes-Benz. As for Coca-Cola, the brand launched the Diet Coke limited edition line designed by Patricia Field, the movie stylist.
There were four types of design according to four main heroines of the “Sex and the City” - Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon).
Each of them represents one of these characters that mean different vital interests and different attitudes to the career, passion and understanding of fashion and style for a modern woman.
Also, these motives were used in special
bags created by Field and featured in the film.
