In August, 2008, Coca-Cola UK and John Rankin Waddell, the famous British photographer, created a special Coca-Cola bottle devoted to the London 2012 Olympic Games (pic.).

design: John Rankin Waddell

It will be presented to Londoners in August 24th, 2008, when the Olympic flag will be passed from Beijing, the capital of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games to London, the capital of the future summer Olympic Games.

"As a Londoner, I love what the city represents so to reflect that with an image, which also represents the Olympics, was a fantastically exciting challenge for me as a photographer," - said Rankin. "It was made even more compelling for me, to do it in collaboration with Coke, and using the iconic contours and shape of the glass bottle”. Designing the bottle, he featured two hands giving and taking each other a snowy white rose, a symbol of piece, harmony and inspiration.

It should be added that Rankin’s love to London was not also missed by Nokia that hold in February, 2008, a special exhibition “Meet London” with Rankin’s photos.
