ECCO, the brand that always believes that the foot should lead the shoe, accompanies Jesper Olsen from Denmark on the world’s longest run.

It starts out from Norkapp in Norway on 1 July, 2008 and will go to the end in New Foundland, Canada on 15 September, 2010. It means that Jesper Olsen will get over about 40 000 kms, crossing tundra, desert and tropical rainforest – unique ecological systems that people must care of.

ECCO has calculated that Jesper will wear out as many as 40 pairs of ECCO RXP 6010 running shoes to complete the race (pic.).

The brand also launched a special website ecco.com/worldrun , so every person could observe this unusual run when he/she wants and even e-mail to Jesper.
