Last summer Gap launched its very special Gap 1969 collection devoted to 1996, the year Gap debuted on the denim market.

It was supported by the launch of the branded community on Facebook, lessons of the Gap’s style and also by StyleMixer, an iPhone application which was aimed to help to find a perfect cloth in accordance with the slogan “Born to Fit”.

Now this slogan is used literally: Gap launched the babyGap 1969 denim collection.

It contains Gap’s iconic pieces designed specifically for babies 0-24 months. These are denim jackets for boys and girls, balloon pants, rompers, skirtalls and unisex overalls.

According to Pam Wallack, president of babyGap, GapKids and GapMaternity, “this collection is all about the fit and fabric, and the denim is so soft that it doesn't require lining”.

The full collection could be seen at gap.com (pic.).
