Guinness referred to futurists.
In particular, the brand turned to Ben Hourahine, futurist and strategist at Leo Burnett London, to speak about how pubs would look in 250 years – in 2259.
According to Guinness and Ben Hourahine, pubs will be full of technological innovations:
A robotic doorman will pick information from a RFID tag, greets visitors and sends orders to the bar. A pint of Guinness will be delivered to the table with a help of “magic” MagLev tray that will work on Magnetic Levitation Transportation Technology.
Guests will have a possibility to create a desired atmosphere around – including their friends, their favorite music and so on. It will be possible because of widely used holograms like in this visualisation (pic.) created by
Chris Bainbridge .
Indeed, all these thoughts about future are connected with the
250th anniversary of Guinness and the St. Patrick’ Day that was celebrated on March, 17th.
