Guinness referred to futurists.

visualisation by Chris Bainbridge

In particular, the brand turned to Ben Hourahine, futurist and strategist at Leo Burnett London, to speak about how pubs would look in 250 years – in 2259.

According to Guinness and Ben Hourahine, pubs will be full of technological innovations:

A robotic doorman will pick information from a RFID tag, greets visitors and sends orders to the bar. A pint of Guinness will be delivered to the table with a help of “magic” MagLev tray that will work on Magnetic Levitation Transportation Technology.

Guests will have a possibility to create a desired atmosphere around – including their friends, their favorite music and so on. It will be possible because of widely used holograms like in this visualisation (pic.) created by Chris Bainbridge .

Indeed, all these thoughts about future are connected with the 250th anniversary of Guinness and the St. Patrick’ Day that was celebrated on March, 17th.
