In June, 2008 IKEA together with the famous American actress Illeana Douglas and SXM, a producing company, announced about their intention to create the common product.

It will be a set of 10 short web-series. Each episode will contain about 4 minutes of humor about IKEA and IKEA’s consumers.

Illeana Douglas has already a weighty experience of creating such supermarket episodes (we mean her Illeanarama project). So, she will be an author, director and the main character of the IKEA’s films. Her partners are famous actors which names IKEA and its co-authors will announce later.

It is known, that episodes will be screened in the IKEA’s store in Burbank, USA and launched in autumn via social sites as YouTube, Daily Motion, Blinkx, Metacafe, Revver, Vuze and mobile platforms.
