On April, 22nd the whole world celebrates the Earth Day, a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment.
It was created in 1970 and so in 2010 this initiative marks its 40-year anniversary. That was a reason that for many brands one day turned to the whole Earth month and they launched their special limited edition products.
For instance, Jack Daniel’s and “American Forests”, a world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration, have presented the special collectible bottle, which purchase means a tree to be planted from the sale (pic.).
The partners plan to sell more than 100 000 bottles of whiskey and to plant approximately 100 000 trees. As they grow, they will sequester at least 33 000 tons of CO2, which is the same as taking nearly 6 000 cars off the road.
