In September, 2009, Kleenex tissue packs in USA will look in this way (pic.).
They will be decorated with paintings done by Paola Lagioia, Jessica DelCarpio and Jaime Maldonado, which are the winners of the
Con Kleenex Expresa tu Hispanidad design contest devoted to the Hispanic culture.
All of them are bright and full of colors with meanings.
For instance, Paola Lagioia says yellow color of her painting means the riches we should all strive to preserve. Green is a symbol of money, something still needed by so many, while white is a hope one can see in children’s eyes.
Jessica DelCarpio used a complex palette from earth and intense colors to show a Hispanic soul, warm and welcoming. Jaime Maldonado expressed the spirit of Latin American countries through celebration with a sun.
All their words and feelings are
here.
