July 4th, the Independence Day of the United States, Levi’s celebrates with a new campaign created by Wieden+Kennedy Portland.

“Go Forth” is a story about America and Americans – those which we know from the old films with a pioneering spirit and those who are in the process of building a new America. Their common portrait is being gathered at goforth.levi.com/newamerican (pic.).

As for videos, the first of them – “America” – directed by Cary Fukunaga uses a poem of Walt Whitman, the famous American poet. It is widely believed this sound is the original wax recording of Walt Whitman himself reading his 1888 poem “America”.



Also, at goforth.levi.com/newdeclaration the brand signs the new declaration of the United States of America and announces the second video, “O Pioneer!” set to air later.
