The textile manufacturing company Cone Mills has existed since 1846 and has been working with Levi’s since 1915 – it’s almost 100 years.
To commemorate this long collaboration, Levi’s decided not to wait the good round figure and launched its Levi’s 1915 XX501 Cone Mills jeans (pic.).
The XX sign means the brand used its archive materials, in particular – a model of Levi’s jeans “Homer” named after the original owner, while “XX501” is a reference to a quality denim, woven by Cone. It is a lightweight 11oz denim which was developed especially for Levi’s.
