The second person from right on this picture (pic.) is Bruce Oldfield, the designer who created uniforms for McDonald’s, that was at once called “McDonald’s Haute Couture”.

design: Bruce Oldfield

It is for 1 200 McDonald’s restaurants in Great Britain since summer 2008.

Mr. Oldfield designed a special pattern for shirts and chemises based on motifs of the famous brand’s golden arches. He turned them into small stars.

David Fairhurst, a chief people officer, McDonald’s, said this star pattern on the blouses and scarves "looked a bit like Louis Vuitton”. However that may be, it means that hamburger became more elegant. At least in Britain.

Also, in May, 2008 in Germany the brand made its another step to elegance:

A German McDonald’s signed the agreement with Heidi Klum, a famous model. According to this agreement, Heidi Klum became “a face” of chicken wraps in order to promote them. These wraps have three different ingredients and are available at all McDonald’s worldwide.

It looks so.
