In the beginning of 2008 the McDonald’s restaurant in Chicago, USA that is situated near one of the oldest US baseball stadiums - Wrigley Field - and Leo Burnett agency set in front of the restaurant the giant mechanical egg (pic.).

agency: Leo Burnett

The aim of this construction is to advertise fresh eggs that are in McDonald’s morning menu.

The billboard includes a timer. So, every day in 6:00 o’clock in the morning the egg opens and McDonald’s visitors could see an inscription “Fresh Eggs Daily”. The egg closes up by around 10:30 a.m. when the breakfast time in the restaurant passes but the next day everything happens again.

The mechanical engineering of the billboard was handled by Prop Art Studio that makes big figures for different brands and companies (for example, in 2007 they made a big figure of Ford Edge).

All states of this unusual egg on a 21 feet height could be seen here .
