McDonald’s launched a special online project about progressive farms.
It is called
”Flagship Farms” (pic.) and is a part of the 3-year initiative developed by McDonald’s and
Food Animal Initiative focused on the "three Es" of Environment (securing the planet in the face of the challenge of climate change), Economics (food must be affordable) and Ethics (food must be produced safely and with the welfare of the animal in mind).
The aim of the “Flagship Farms” is to encourage sharing of sustainable agricultural practices via case studies and discussions.
It starts from the real practices and studies of 7 farms from UK, Ireland, Poland, Holland, Portugal, Spain and France. Read them
