In the brands’ history, every year counts , but some of these years are even more important for brands than others. For instance, for Nike it is the 1978th when the Blue Ribbon Sports company officially became Nike Inc.

Exactly this year is the subject of the special design project created by Paul Jenkins and inspired by Nike.
It is named Nike 78 and involves creatives from different countries who received a brand new pair of Nike shoes and were asked to use sport as inspiration to challenge their function.
As a result, one can see a lot of fun and interesting objects that will be unveiled in September in the frame of the London Design Festival 2010:
