Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG became the first among slab chocolate manufacturers to produce the new product – so called BIO chocolate. This launch became the key step for the “Ritter Sport” brand in 2008.
The concept of BIO chocolate means ecologically clean product being made from the best ingredients such as cocoa beans form Peru and Ecuador, cashew nuts form Tanzania and carefully picked by hand raisins and almonds from California.
The aim of the Ritter’s BIO chocolate is to dispel the habitual myth that bio product means really health but not taste meal.
BIO is launched in Russia nearly synchronous with it’s appearance in Germany.
