Starbucks and the Fairtrade Foundation, the independent non-profit organisation that licenses use of the ethical Fairtrade mark, partner in Rwanda.

As it is known, this country is the biggest Arfican coffee supplier – also, for European markets.

By the end of this year all of Starbucks espresso in Britain will be certified by Fairtrade and bought according to the principles of the own Starbucks program “Shared Planet” .

Also, beginning early 2010 Starbucks will offer its first 100% Fairtrade certified coffee in Britain. It will be a limited edition product.
