In March, 19th Starbucks Coffee Company has presented to its shareholders some innovative customer-facing initiatives. One of them was MyStarbucksIdea, an online destination to collect stuff and consumers’ ideas and propositions.


It is situated at MyStarbucksIdea.com and since that time ideas and thoughts were collected there. Now, the brand wants to sum up current results:

It was found that since the launch 50 ideas were realized (pic.). These are simple propositions about the work of this site itself; ideas about new products (such as Strawberry Vivanno), notions on different discounts and free coffees on birthdays and anniversaries, branded iPhone applications .

Every idea realized is announced on Twitter by @mystarbucksidea : “You've asked for this one – here it is”.

Surprisingly, that the section “Involvement” devoted for ideas of brand’s actions which could be shared by consumers have the same number of notes as a department of new products has. One of the latest is a proposition to organize in coffee houses exhibitions of local artists. According to consumers, this idea is in a good correspondence with a new Starbucks design strategy .
