In December, 2009 Timberland got the title of the official footwear and outerwear sponsor of the Sundance film festival, which this year would be held since 21st till 31st of January.

This status assumes the definite media activity, some green efforts, such as encouraging the use of public transportation and walking for festival attendees, and the creation of the branded clothes for filmmakers and the festival’s programming team. But the brand has something more.

On January, 21st Timberland launches a special micro-site TimberlandSFF2010.com (pic.). It will provide videos, “Man-on-the-Street” interviews, photos and posts throughout the festival.
