AOL and the Woman’s Day magazine studied women’s imagination about honesty.

agency: Grey. London. UK

For example, they were interested to know if women would snoop through others e-mails or cell phones and how often they did so. It was found, that this situation was known for many women:

According to the survey, 75% of women said they would snoop through their child’s e-mail or cell phone while 67% of women would look through their husband’s e-mail and mobile.

Also, 69% of women being surveyed said they had called in sick to work when they really weren’t while 68% of respondents said that they had taken office supplies from their job instead of buying their own.

Interestingly, that such habits are not in a conflict with other very honest rules. It is known that 62% of women being surveyed would leave a note if they dinged someone’s car, even if no one saw them do it. Also, 60% would not cheat on their taxes, even if they knew they could get away with it.

As for women-and-men relations, 24% admitted to cheating on their husbands and 46% said they would tell a friend if they knew her husband was having an affair.

The Woman’s Day/AOL date are based on the poll conducted among more than 2 000 men and women on AOL Health (http://aolhealth.com) from May 15 to May 26, 2008.
