It is based on data of 518 brands from 71 categories and takes into account a lot of factors, such as the values that drive consumers’ in-market behavior and quantify what they are willing to believe about a brand and different category-loyalty drivers.
These year results have some difference from
the last year data.
For instance, in the “Automotive” category Hyundai became the leader and Toyota lost its first position. Also, vodka brand Belvedere got the second place in comparison with the fifth result in 2009 (pic.).
But, a lot of brands kept their positions:
Nike became the first brand in the “Athletic Footwear” category. Apple got the first place among “Computer” brands. Samsung was named the best among “Wireless Handset” brands, while Google was the best search brand.
