Harris Interactive, the research company, and Coors polled consumers of one of the oldest American brands - Coors Banquet – and found that the majority of adults preferred classics (75%) over the latest trends (25%).
For instance, 93% of respondents being surveyed prefer original songs over remixes (only 7% of respondents). 95% of consumers prefer hanging out with friends over video chatting with friends (only 5% of respondents). 87% of people prefer basic blue jeans over designer label pants (only 13%) while 96% prefer original movies over remakes (4%).
The survey was devoted to the 135th anniversary of the Coors Banquet brand. This beer is still brewed on the same Rocky Mountains in the same brewery as it has been since Adolph Coors first introduced it in 1873.
This survey for the Coors Brewing Company was conducted by Harris Interactive among 2 185 U.S. adults ages 21+ between September 17 and September 19, 2008. This online survey is not based on a probability sample and therefore no estimate of theoretical sampling error can be calculated.
