It was found that when parents bought games they think not only about academic skills of their kids but also about social ones. Moreover, 90% of parents consider social skills to be vital to their children’s happiness and confidence and nearly 80% consider such skills more important than academic skills when it comes to happiness.
But the process of playing and teaching sometimes seems to be not very easy for parents. According to Hasbro, 72% of parents being surveyed said they sometimes felt frustrated trying to teach their charges how to listen attentively, share or use other social graces.
Some of them wait for help from special games. For example, more than 80% of parents said turning social skills into a fun learning activity would help them reinforce those lessons.
