When launching its Samsung Instinct mobile phone in Canada, Samsung Electronics Canada along with Angus Reid Strategies conducted the survey. The aim was to find if people in Canada follow their inside voices and instincts.

video: Follow Your Instinct

It was found, that about 33% of people being surveyed think their instincts never let them down while only 1% of respondents believe their instincts miss the mark every time. Also, 66% of respondents marked that to listen to inside voices is important, but believe it is not possible to follow them with closed eyes.

Researches found several situations in which people prefer to follow their intuition. These are forming an opinion on someone they just meet (61% of respondents), when lost and in need of directions (14%), when making financial decisions (10%), career decisions (8%) and matters of romance (7% of opinions).

As for the famous women’s intuition, people think it really exists. 29% of males and 71% of females believe women have more accurate instincts.

The study was conducted from August 5 to August 6, 2008 and surveyed 1 004 adult Canadians. It is considered accurate within +/- 3.1%, 19 times out of 20.
