When one explains the advantages of solid-state drive-based notebooks (SSD), we usually hear about their less weight, more high reading speeds, zero noise level the less energy consumed. Also, because of an absence of mobile parts, SSDs are considered as more firm. All these create a nice list of arguments to buy a SSD-notebook next time.

In order to find countries where SMBs buy SSD-notebooks more often and to define what brands they prefer, Techaisle conducted the survey among SMBs in USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Australia, China, India, Russia, Brazil and Turkey:

According to Techaisle, SMBs is in Italy, Germany and Australia demonstrate the highest adoption of notebooks with SSD, and among the emerging markets Turkey and Russia have the highest current usage (pic.). At that, there is generally a very high awareness of solid-state drive notebooks among SMBs:

Of those surveyed, 62% were aware of solid-state drive-based notebooks, but 66% of those who were aware are planning to wait for the prices to come down before purchasing.

As for brands, 18,4% of SMBs who are aware of SSDs showed aided brand awareness for Dell followed by Hewlett-Packard at 18,1%.
