It was found that there are a lot of such “faith” relations:
59% of being surveyed by Virgin Mobile said they do it. It is known that 76% of such text checkers do so in secret while 73% of text checkers have found out things they later wish they had not.
Mainly, these are messages of sexual character (about 50% of respondents) that vary from harmless flirtation (32% of respondents) to messages that could change or broke relations (19%).
The conclusion is “keep your phone far from your beloved partner and don’t read not yours messages”. In case you’ll follow, you will sleep better.
The survey was conducted by Virgin Mobile among 900 000 owners of mobile phones in Australia (August, 2008).
