Developed a planetary gearbox design for a compact mechanical power transmission application. The project focused on the development of a planetary reduction gear train subassembly capable of achieving a 5:1 reduction ratio while maintaining proper gear meshing, assembly integrity, and motion behavior.

This planetary gearbox design involved gear train architecture development, parametric CAD modeling, assembly validation, motion simulation, and engineering documentation. The design includes a sun gear, four planet gears, internal ring gear, and carrier assembly configured for efficient torque transmission within a compact envelope.
